Shyam Property Mart (“we”, “us”) operates this website and the associated portal used by property consultants, advisors and developers. We act as the data fiduciary for information you provide directly to us.

Where you enquire about a listing published by an independent consultant or developer using our platform, that firm is a separate data fiduciary for the information you send them. Their own retention and contact practices apply alongside this policy.

• Enquiry details — your name, phone number, email address and any message, budget, preferred location, possession timeline or financing requirement you choose to share.
• Account details — for consultants and their teams, the business name, category of business, contact details, GST number where supplied, and login credentials (passwords are stored only as a one-way hash and are never readable by us).
• Listing content — property descriptions, pricing, locations and photographs uploaded by consultants using the portal.
• Usage information — pages viewed, searches run and listings saved, used to improve the site and to report anonymised interest levels to the listing consultant.
• Technical information — IP address, browser type and device information, collected automatically when you visit.

We do not ask for identity documents, bank details or payment card numbers through this website. Subscription payments made by consultants are processed by our payment gateway, which receives those details directly — we never see or store card numbers.

• To respond to your enquiry and put you in touch with the relevant advisor or consultant.
• To arrange site visits and share property details, pricing and availability.
• To operate accounts, subscriptions and billing for consultants using the portal.
• To improve our listings, search and site performance.
• To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent for marketing communications, and on the necessity of performing the service you asked for in every other case. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Property is a referral business. When you submit an enquiry about a specific project or listing, we share your name and contact details with the consultant, advisor or developer responsible for that property so they can respond. This is the purpose of the enquiry and it cannot be separated from it.

We do not sell your contact details, and we do not share them with firms unrelated to the property you asked about.

Having submitted an enquiry, you may be contacted by phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp about that enquiry, including where your number is registered on the National Do Not Call registry, because the contact is one you requested.

Marketing messages about other properties are sent only with your consent, and every such message includes a way to opt out. You can also tell us to stop at any time using the contact details below.

• The consultant, advisor or developer handling the property you enquired about.
• Our cloud hosting and storage providers, who process data on our instructions.
• Our payment gateway, for consultant subscription payments.
• Professional advisors, and government or judicial authorities where the law requires it.

Our service providers may process data outside India, under contractual safeguards.

Enquiry records are retained for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal obligations. Consultant account records are retained for the life of the account and for the period afterwards required by tax and company law. You may ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to erase information we are not required to keep.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
• Raise a grievance with us, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

To exercise any of these, write to us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Access to the portal requires authentication, passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, and data in transit is encrypted. Each consultant’s inventory, leads and team are isolated so one firm cannot see another’s records. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to understand which listings are viewed. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the portal will not work without them.

This site is intended for adults transacting in property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

A grievance officer is required to be named here under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the Information Technology Act 2000. The officer’s name, designation and contact address still need to be added before this page is published. Until then, use the contact details below and we will route your grievance appropriately.

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
